What happens when two famous and popular celebrities decide to collaborate for a show? That was what former co-stars Lee Joon Gi and IU did on JTBC’s Knowing Bros. The two celebrities had starred in the globally successful historical fiction drama, ‘Moon Lovers-Scarlet Heart: Ryeo in 2016. It was revealed that when IU was invited to be a guest on the 150th episode of the variety show, she requested Lee Joon Gi to be her co-guest.
The show which was broadcast on 20 October recorded 7.3 percent in viewership ratings and was rated first among the major t.v. and cable programmes for viewers aged 20-49.
Lee Joon Gi performed many thrilling moves that have the combination of physicality, flexibility and quickness. Thanks to the buzz of excitement surrounding his participation in the programme, Lee Joon Gi and his past works were trending topics on Naver.
The show airs on Saturdays at 9 p.m. KST.
